The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the release of the application results for university and TVET courses. Candidates who applied for tertiary courses through KUCCPS can now check whether their applications were successful or not. The placement body has reopened its portal to provide students with the outcome of their first application.

2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates are advised to visit the KUCCPS portal to check if they have been provisionally placed in an institution of higher learning. Those who have not been placed are encouraged to revise their choices based on the cutoff points and their KCSE results. KUCCPS will notify the candidates via SMS about the success of their application.

Successful applicants will be notified whether their application was accepted, but the specific details of the course and the institution will be revealed at a later stage. The information about the course and university allocation will be announced in due course by KUCCPS officials.

To check the application results, candidates can verify their status through SMS. KUCCPS will send notifications to registered phone numbers, informing them about the success of their first application. Additionally, candidates can log into their KUCCPS portal and check the message posted in the application section to know their status.

For those who were not successful in their first application, they have the opportunity to make a second revision by visiting the KUCCPS website at www.students.kuccps.net. They can submit a revised application based on their results and the cutoff points provided for courses in various institutions. KUCCPS has also provided previous years’ cutoff points as a guide for the current applications.

It’s important to note that the KUCCPS portal will be closed on June 27, 2023. Candidates are advised to take the necessary actions and make any revisions before the portal’s closure. This information aims to assist candidates who have applied for university and TVET courses through KUCCPS and provide them with the necessary instructions on how to check the application results.
